Since April 2003, I have been carefully following my rehab schedule and I am happy to report that I am finally free of injury. I have even started racing again. I will now concentrate on keeping injury free and building speed and endurance.
As you can probably guess, my passion is running. I have been running since 1974!! Now that I am getting older, the main priority is staying healthy. You cannot hope to run fast if you are injured. I am currently following the philosophies outlined in Jack Daniels' Running Formula. Key ingredients are to be injury free and to be consistent in my training. I have, once more, posted my training schedule, but please do not follow it because it is designed specifically for me and my injuries/goals. They are only meant to be used as an example of a conservative schedule. Good luck in your training goals.
